AdvertisementCelebrityMusicTechAI ‘de-ages’ Rolling Stones in uncanny new videoThe New DailyMay 15, 2026, updated May 15, 2026 ShareSource: The Rolling Stones / YouTube Rolling Stones fans can be forgiven for doing a double take over their new music video, in which the rock legends are “de-aged” to look like they did some 50 years ago.The four-minute video for In the Stars – the latest release from their upcoming Foreign Tongues album – shows Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood in a studio session in a warehouse that turns into a dance party.The deepfake technology used to make them look like they did at the height of their career comes from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s AI company Deep Voodoo, according to The Hollywood Reporter.“Overall, the deepfakes are impressive, if not maybe a tad uncanny, showing a near-perfect replica of how Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood looked in the late ’70s,” the website reported.“It’s hard to say exactly what the process to develop the deepfakes was, though the video’s credits list body doubles for Jagger, Richards and Wood in the cast.”Eighty-two-year-old Jagger wears tight burgundy leather pants in the video, which offers a close-up of him swaying his hips before turning to face the camera and belt out the chorus alongside band mates Richards, 80, and Wood, 78.The video was directed by Francois Rousselet and features actor Odessa A’zion – from the multiple-Oscar-nominated film Marty Supreme – who at one point licks the young-looking Jagger’s face.The Rolling Stones’ previous videos have included actors such as Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney, Normal People‘s Paul Mescal, Skins actor Nicholas Hoult, Twilight‘s Kristen Stewart and Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie.Ronnie Wood, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards at their Hackney Diamonds album launch in 2023. I don’t like it.
