You will lead the development of governance frameworks, policies, and guardrails that ensure AI is adopted safely, ethically, and in line with government requirements. Working across the organisation, you will design and operate an AI Centre of Excellence, providing oversight, guidance, and support for AI initiatives from concept through to delivery and business-as-usual integration. You will partner with senior leaders, business units, and external stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities and deliver a portfolio of AI-enabled initiatives that improve productivity, service delivery, and operational performance. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence how emerging technologies are applied in a complex, public sector environment.   About the Team   The Corporate Services Division, including the Information Technology Directorate, provides the enabling functions that support Parks Victoria's operations across its diverse estate. The team delivers technology solutions, enterprise architecture, and information management capabilities that underpin effective park management and organisational performance. We're looking for someone with: Demonstrated experience establishing governance, risk, privacy, and assurance frameworks for digital, data, or AI initiatives Strong understanding of responsible AI principles and relevant legislative and policy requirements Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through to delivery and operational embedment Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to provide clear advice to executive audiences Experience building organisational capability, frameworks, and operating models to support new ways of working Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, risks, and practical solutions Your application will need to include: A Current Resume A Cover Letter Application Close date: Sunday, 14th June 2026 Sound like you?
