Nol8 joins the Megaport AI Exchange Customer proof-of-concept trials underway Commercial launch targeted later this year Special Report: FortifAI has collaborated with Megaport to bring its Nol8 AI Data Plane to the Megaport AI Exchange, enabling select customers to begin proof-of-concept deployments.The company has integrated Nol8 with Megaport’s compute, network and storage services on the AI Exchange and has listed it on the Megaport Marketplace, which spans a software-defined network of more than 1,100 data centres.FortifAI (ASX:FTI) said Nol8 is designed to solve a bottleneck between storage and GPUs, where existing CPU-based systems struggle to feed data quickly enough for modern AI workloads. This is due to the layer between storage and the GPU relying on CPU arrays and middleware built for human-pace data movement.The company said Nol8 is designed to replace that layer with an accelerated data plane that feeds GPUs at wire speed while applying governance and policy controls before data reaches AI models."Megaport connects the world's infrastructure.
