Two people have been charged after a woman was allegedly threatened at gunpoint in a frightening home invasion and armed robbery on the northern Gold Coast. Police allege a 45-year-old man broke into the woman’s Seashell Avenue residence in Coomera around 11am on Monday. The man was then joined by a 44-year-old woman and two other people, one of whom was allegedly armed with a firearm. The group allegedly threatened the 36-year-old female occupant before stealing jewellery, electronic devices and her white Mazda CX-9. Police ended up finding the woman’s vehicle a short time later in Coomera. A 45-year-old man was also arrested at a service station in Upper Coomera after he allegedly arrived in a different vehicle, while a 44-year-old woman was arrested at an address in Southport. The man has since been charged with robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and drug offences, while the woman has been charged with robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter dwelling with intent and drug offences.
