Bio

Tama Leaver is a Professor of Internet Studies at Curtin University, specializing in digital media, internet studies, and digital childhood. He has served as the Immediate Past President of the Association of Internet Researchers and is a Chief Investigator at the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child. Leaver's research focuses on digital childhood, the impact of generative AI, visual social media, and mobile gaming, and he has authored several books and received multiple teaching awards.
