Bio

Jevin West is a Professor and the Associate Dean for Research at the Information School, University of Washington. He is the co-founder and inaugural director of the Center for an Informed Public, focusing on combating misinformation and promoting informed discourse. An accomplished researcher, West's work spans computer science, data science, and information science, and he is also a published author of the book 'Calling Bullshit: The Art of Skepticism in a Data-Driven World.'
