Aislinn Conrad, PhD, LMSW, is an Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Iowa, recognized for her expertise in child abuse prevention, economic hardship, and the ethical use of AI in social systems. As the principal investigator of innovative projects like iCare, she advances tools to detect physical violence, while leading community-engaged efforts to improve outcomes for vulnerable families. With over a decade in academia and frontline child welfare work, Dr. Conrad is dedicated to ethical, trauma-informed solutions grounded in lived experience.
