Bio

Eldin Milak is a Lecturer at the School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry, specializing in sociology, anthropology, and Korean studies. With a PhD in sociolinguistics from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea, he has been involved in major projects like the 'Brain Korea 21' initiative and has published extensively in international journals. As a 2023 Korea Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow and Fulbright Visiting Scholar, his work focuses on the interplay between semiotic practices and personal identities in the context of nationalism and globalization.
