Bio

Rachel Adams, PhD, is the Founding CEO of the Global Centre on AI Governance and an Assistant Research Professor at the Leverhulme Center for the Future of Intelligence, University of Cambridge. She is the author of 'The New Empire of AI: The Future of Global Inequality' and has held significant roles addressing AI ethics, such as Director of AI and Global Programmes at Research ICT Africa. With a background in Human Rights and Philosophy, her work spans international expert committees and institutions like UNESCO and the Gates Foundation.
