Bio
Andrew Guthrie Ferguson is a Professor of Law at the George Washington University Law School, specializing in criminal law, criminal procedure, and surveillance technologies. An expert in predictive policing, facial recognition, and big data surveillance, he is a prolific author of over 35 law review articles and several books, including 'The Rise of Big Data Policing,' which received the PROSE Award for Law and Legal Studies. Prior to academia, he served as a supervising attorney at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.
