David Wroe is the Strategic Communications Director at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, with a robust background in journalism spanning nearly two decades. He has served as The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age's national security correspondent and was a senior media adviser and speechwriter for Foreign Minister Marise Payne. A recipient of the Walkley Award for international reporting, Wroe has extensive experience in defense, security, and foreign affairs reporting from diverse global regions.
