Bio
Dr. Ilan Strauss is a Senior Research Associate at UCL's Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose, where he leads research on digital rents, supported by the Omidyar Network. He has a distinguished academic career, including roles as a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Johannesburg and previous teaching positions at Rice University and NYU. Dr. Strauss has consulted for various international organizations and holds a Ph.D. in economics from the New School for Social Research, New York.
