Dr. Philip Di Salvo is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, focusing on investigative journalism, Internet surveillance, and the intersection of journalism and hacking. He has previously held teaching and research roles at the London School of Economics and Università della Svizzera italiana, and he has written for Wired, Vice, and Esquire as a freelance journalist.
