Ferdinando Fioretto is an assistant professor of Computer Science at the University of Virginia, leading the Responsible AI for Science and Engineering (RAISE) group. His research focuses on integrating deep learning and constrained optimization for complex scientific challenges, and ensuring the equity, privacy, and fairness of AI systems. Ferdinando's work is supported by the National Science Foundation, Google, Amazon, and the University of Virginia.
