Bio
Erin A. Cech is an Associate Professor of Sociology and a courtesy Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. She examines cultural mechanisms of inequality through non-discriminatory practices and has been recognized for her work by the National Science Foundation and notable publications such as The New York Times and Forbes. Cech is a distinguished author whose books include 'The Trouble with Passion' and 'Misconceiving Merit'.
