Bio

Edoardo Ponti is an assistant professor of Natural Language Processing at the University of Edinburgh and a visiting professor at NVIDIA, specializing in modular deep learning, efficient architectures, and computational typology. With a PhD from the University of Cambridge, his research has been accredited with a Google Research Faculty Award and Best Paper Awards at EMNLP and RepL4NLP. He serves as a board member of SIGTYP, is part of the ELLIS community, and is on the editorial team for the TACL journal.
