Shamira Ahmed is a policy leader fellow at the European University Institute's Florence School of Transnational Governance, specializing in sustainable digital transformation, ethical innovation, and AI governance. As the executive director of the Data Economy Policy Hub and founder of the AI for Circularity Exchange, she plays a pioneering role in enhancing transnational policy dialogue in South Africa. Her work includes contributions to diverse policy-oriented research projects, highlighting her commitment to addressing global challenges through interdisciplinary approaches.
