Bio

Dr. Xiaoyuan (Shawn) Chen is the Nasrat Muzayyin Chair Professor in Medicine and Technology at the National University of Singapore, where he leads several departments across medicine, engineering, and design. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Idaho, Dr. Chen has held significant positions at Stanford University and the National Institutes of Health. He is the founding editor of 'Theranostics' and a widely published researcher, with over 1,000 peer-reviewed papers and numerous prestigious awards including fellowships in the AIMBE and SNMMI.
