Bio
Flora Salim is a Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney, holding the esteemed position of inaugural Cisco Chair of Digital Transport & AI. She serves as the Deputy Director (Engagement) of the UNSW AI Institute and has extensive expertise in machine learning for time-series and multimodal sensor data, along with trustworthy AI. Dr. Salim is a distinguished researcher with numerous accolades, including the Women in AI Awards 2022 in Defense and Intelligence, contributing significantly to AI and ubiquitous computing fields.
