Lee McGowan is a distinguished researcher, teacher, and writer, known for his work at the intersections of creative writing, sport, and community narratives. He has co-authored several notable monographs, including 'Women’s Football in Oceania' and 'Beach Soccer Histories', and published 'Football in Fiction: a History'. He is actively involved with the Australian Association of Writing Programs and is pursuing further scholarly contributions with support from the Australian Centre for Pacific Islands Research (ACPIR).
