Michael Richardson is a researcher focusing on the intersection of affect, power, and violence in culture, media, and politics. Currently a recipient of the Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award, he has authored 'Gestures of Testimony: Torture, Trauma and Affect in Literature' and co-edited 'Traumatic Affect'.
