Bio

Anna Choi is a 4th-year Ph.D. candidate in Information Science at Cornell University, where she specializes in AI Ethics and Automatic Speech Recognition. She is affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania as a Visiting Scholar at the Linguistic Data Consortium. Her research focuses on auditing Speech-to-Text algorithms and exploring the use of voice as biometrics in AI for healthcare, particularly analyzing speech data for neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s Disease, Schizophrenia, and Aphasia.
